Cowa Thermal Solutions

Cowa Thermal Solutions AG was founded in 2019 as a spin-off of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Our founders Remo Waser, Simon Maranda and Jörg Worlitschek had the vision of commercializing compact thermal energy storage systems for renewable heating systems.
Our patented technology makes it possible to store thermal energy in a highly compact way, which solves space problems in heating and energy systems. We have reached a significant milestone with the market launch of our first product in 2023. Our innovative storage solutions require up to five times less space than conventional heat storage tanks while offering highly efficient, hygienic and durable energy storage.
